This book touched me somewhere in my heart - I think it is because I really love Cassandra, there was some essence of her that went into me.
I found the book utterly immersing and as if I really was there. The characters are very real and very believable. They can become your friends for life, it was hard finishing this book because I just wanted it to go on and on and on. I didn't want to leave Cassandra.
I wanted her to fall in love with Stephen and I wanted to see what she did next. I just wished there was a sequel, but then I doubt it could ever be as good as this book.
I love books that seem real to you, that don't end as soon as you close the covers. The characters are people that seem to continue existing.
